MORE than 50 people were evacuated from a hotel in Marylebone after a fire broke out this morning (Thurs).

Four fire engines were called to the blaze which broke out at a hotel on Manchester Street at 7.45am.

Around 20 firefighters from Soho and Paddington fought for an hour and a half to bring the flames under control.

A small part of the basement of the four storey hotel was damaged by the fire but no-one was injured.
